Top ways to prepare for your cruise

It’s important that you check in for your cruise online before you arrive at the pier. Please do so in advance to avoid delays. Various cruise lines offer check-in at different times, so please contact your travel advisor for instructions. Many cruise lines also feature apps that allow you to check in quickly and view vacation features such as dining venues and bars on board, shore excursions, entertainment reservations, deck maps, and more!

Please contact your travel advisor to ensure you have all the necessary travel documents.
Required identification documents may vary by itinerary, but you can find more information on passport requirements.

A valid passport is required to enter and exit most foreign countries, including the United States, and it is always advised that you travel with a passport that expires at least six months after your trip. Exceptions include travel by cruise ships departing U.S. ports and sailing to Mexico and some Caribbean countries, where a U.S. birth certificate and photo ID may be accepted. Please note that not all Caribbean countries allow this exception. To confirm current travel requirements, please contact your travel advisor.

But what about our accommodations?

There are four types of rooms located on a ship. Depending on your budget they can be luxurious in textile, style, and comfort levels.

What stateroom is the best choice on a cruise
Certain things you should consider when choosing a stateroom are comfort vs. cost, the various levels, stateroom types, and personal preferences.

Find Your Deck Level

If you choose the upper levels, you’ll be closer to the pool decks and enjoy more panoramic views. If you select a lower deck, you may be a short walking distance from delicious dining and entertainment areas. Each ship is different, but you can find deck plans via the cruise line’s app or website. Whichever stateroom you prefer, we will gladly guide you in the right direction.

Who and how to tip on a cruise

Gratuities are standard in hospitality, including cruising. When you think about all the hard work everyone on the ship puts in to make your experience incredible, the small tips can go a long way. Most cruise lines include the daily balance of tips to your shipboard account, while others leave tipping ship personnel up to your discretion.
